WHL Regina bubble not finalized yet

The Western Hockey League is throwing cold water on a report by Sportsnet’s Jeff Marek about a bubble involving Eastern Division teams in Regina.

Marek sent out a tweet Wednesday night saying the league had been given approval by the Saskatchewan government, but a league official  has been in contact with some in the Saskatchewan hockey scene saying that report is not correct.

The province’s business response team is working with the league to try and come to an agreement. Part of that agreement would involve the two Manitoba based teams–Brandon and Winnipeg–to come into Saskatchewan.
