The Winnipeg ICE stormed back to score five goals in the final period to beat the Regina Pats 7-4 on Saturday.
Regina was leading 3-2 going into the final period.
Connor Bedard had a short-handed goal and a pair of assists.

Brayden Barnett scored his first goal of the season for Regina. Rounding out the scoring for the Pats Stanislav Svozil and Sam Oremba.
After the game, Assistant Coach Ken Schneider said the line of Barnett, Michaels, and Jaxsin Vaughan had a strong game for the Pats.
“They carried the play often on their shifts, played a lot of end zone time in Winnipeg’s end, got a really nice goal on a lot of hard work and a really nice play by Matteo (Michaels). ”
Barnett also felt their line had a strong game.
“We took a big step as a line and I hope we can continue that throughout the season. ”
Along with helping out the Pats on the scoresheet, Schneider said Bedard has been helping out the team as a leader.
“I really felt like the last few games in particular that Connor’s been trying to take the team on his back, saw a lot of positive leadership on the bench at times when other guys did some really good things, he was making sure that they get the credit that they deserved. ”
Kelton Pyne made 26 saves in the loss for Regina. Both teams were 1/3 on the power-play.
The next action for the Pats is Monday afternoon, when they welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes for a special matinee game on Family Day.
