Pats host Hurricanes in special Family Day matchup

 

On Family Day Monday, the Regina Pats will host the Lethbridge Hurricanes in a special matinee game at the Brandt Centre.

Over the weekend, the Pats dropped a pair of contests. On Friday they were defeated by Prince Albert 6-5, followed by a 7-4 loss against the Winnipeg ICE on Saturday.

With the losses, Regina is tied with Swift Current and Medicine Hat for the 7th-9th spots in the Eastern Conference with 53 points. Brandon is not far behind at 51 points. Following this afternoon’s game, the Pats next three games are against the Tigers (Feb.22) and the Wheat Kings (Feb 24) (Feb 25) .

Lethbridge is coming off a win on home ice against Brandon on Friday night. The Hurricanes hold the the 6th seed with 66 points.

Coverage for today’s game on 620 CKRM begins with the pre-game show at 1:35. Dante De Caria will have the play-by-play beginning at 2:00.

Once today’s game wraps up, their will be a chance for fans to enjoy a skate with the Pats at the Brandt Centre.
