Pair Accused of Theft, Assault, and Resisting Arrest.

Two Regina women ae facing charges after an incident in the Queen City Sunday morning.

Police responded to a report on the 900 block of Albert Street, where it was alleged two women left a business without paying for merchandise.

The women allegedly threatened staff with a knife, and threatened to stick them with a needle.

The pair resisted arrest by officers, and now face charges of theft, assault and resisting arrest.

40 year old Jana Sayer-Desjarlais is charged along with a 17 year old whom cannot be named under the youth criminal justice act.

the pair are scheduled to make their first appearance in court on March 30th.
