Saskatchewan Teachers Federation inviting teachers and public to let MLA’s know of classroom problems

Saskatchewan’s teachers are being asked by the group that governs them to let their MLA and the Education Ministry know what type of conditions they are working under.

The campaign called “Tell Them Tuesday” also invites members of the public to do the same thing.

Saskatchewan Teachers Federation President Patrick Maze says MLA’s may have no idea as to how classrooms in their riding are being impacted and this is a great way to let them know so that they are aware of how under-resourced classrooms are when decisions are being made at the cabinet table.

The campaign comes at a time when teachers in the province are looking for a new contract with class size and composition being the main item.
