11 Puppies Rescued by Local Non Profit

11 puppies are in need of care and attention after being rescued from a Saskatchewan home by the CC REZQ’S Organization.
The dogs were abandoned, left to fend for themselves in the basement of the home.
“We received a message from someone who had to abruptly leave their home situation, we found out there were 11 puppies in the basement with ample water but no food. Not an ideal situation.”
Stephanie Senger is the Foster and Adoption coordinator for the group and says the 11 dogs are adjusting to their new surroundings.
“The dogs are acting like puppies today – which is fantastic. We’re getting tail wags and everyone is excited to be eating – we’re flying through food!”
Senger says the pups have have driven up the need for supplies – with the dogs flying through toys, treats and kibble.
“At the moment we need a little bit of everything. People are interested in fostering and we’re hoping they follow through on that.”
Senger says that even though the number of dogs is surprising for some – it was tough, but ultimately just another day for the group. The need for fosters is always paramount for them – as they always have dogs in their care. Veterinary bills are also something the group could always use help with.
Supply donations can be made by contacting the rescue via facebook. Cash donations can be made via interac e transfer to [email protected]
Additionally – the group is looking for names for the litter of 11 – with Senger adding that any suggestions would be welcome.
