Indian Head RCMP are investigating a fatal collision that occurred at the intersection of Highway #1 and Highway #606 on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.
The collision involved a car and an SUV. The driver of the SUV, a 78-year-old woman from Carry-The-Kettle Nakoda Nation, was declared deceased at the scene.
A youth passenger in the SUV sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the car, the sole occupant, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
