Applications are open for prairie farmers to apply for a 2023 spring cash advance through the Canadian Canola Growers Association.

The director of finance and operations at the Canola Growers, Dave Gallant, says farmers can see significant benefits by applying for an interest-free cash advance.

He says the interest free limit is 250 thousand dollars, with an interest rate remaining at prime less .75 percent up to an additional 750 thousand dollars.

He says cash advances will begin on April 3rd.

Farmers can apply on over 50 commodities, including field crops, large and small livestock, honey and organic commodities.
