Police issue Canada-wide-warrant for Regina homicide suspect

Police are requesting assistance from the public in locating a 22-year-old man wanted for homicide.

ReShaun Norman Cote is wanted. He is described as a male, approximately 6’0″ tall, with a medium build, short brown hair, and brown eyes. He also has angel wing tattoos on both sides of his neck.

Cote is wanted for the city’s first homicide of 2024, which happened on May 12 on the  4800 block of Sherwood Drive.

At approximately 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, police were dispatched to a residence on the 4800 block of Sherwood Drive for the report of a firearms offence. Initial information indicated that there was a male on a driveway that had been shot. Police and EMS attended and located a male with serious injuries. 

The victim, a 22-year-old male, was transported to the hospital but succumbed to injury.

Police believe Cote is likely armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
