A 33-year-old woman faces a manslaughter charge in connection with the death of a three-year-old girl in March of 2018.
Regina police were called to a home on the 100 block of Montreal Street North on March 20, 2018 after a report of an unresponsive child inside. Zoey Hancock was rushed to hospital, but died a few hours later.
Ashley Longworth, who was running a home daycare at that home, made a court appearance on Wednesday and was released under a number of conditions, including not supervising any child under the age of 16.
She will be back in court March 18.
