Saskatchewan adds another medal at Canada Winter Games

 

Team Saskatchewan added another medal to their collection at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in PEI on Thursday.

In Judo, Josiah Hallett earned a bronze medal in the +81kg division. Corban Taylor of Regina finished in 4th. On the girls side, Brook and Dez Franson each finished 4th in their respective weight classes.

It was Saskatchewan’s second medal in Judo over the last two days, Ashton Debruyne picked up Saskatchewan’s first medal of week two, a bronze in the 66 kg event.

Following Thursday’s action, Saskatchewan now has 19 medals at the Canada Winter Games. 3-Gold, 7-Silver, 9-Bronze.
