A two-year-old boy is safe and sound after going missing at a family gathering in the province’s southwest.

RCMP sent out a release Tuesday morning asking people in the Aneroid area to help search for two-year-old Courtlund Alcide Stuart Barrington-Moss, but shortly after sending out that release, another one was sent saying the boy was found safe and sound.

It is not known where he was found and how far the boy got, but he was OK.

The boy’s family spent last night searching an area around the farm where he had be gone missing with help from RCMP and a STARS air ambulance helicopter.
