Premier Scott Moe has returned from a successful week-long trade mission to India.

Last year, Saskatchewan shipped exports worth 1.4 billion dollars to India.

Saskatchewan supplies more than half the lentils shipped to India.

Moe says there was good interest in Saskatchewan-grown food and manufactured farm equipment, particularly seeding equipment.

Moe also promoted Saskatchewan potash and uranium for use in India.

Premier Moe returned from his trade mission to India Monday evening.
