The town of Arcola is getting their health centre back later this week.
In a public notice issued in the community, Arcola residents learned they will see their Health Centre open on February 19th.
Arcola Mayor Keith Erick says it’s great news to see staff head back to the health centre.
“We knew that they needed them in Weyburn because quite a few of the doctors and staff were getting sick,” said Erick. “We’re proud that our staff was able to help, and happy to see our system getting opened back up.”
This is the second time the health centre has had to re-open after it was closed in the summer due to COVID-19 refocusing by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
