Stay Hydrated. It’s Going to be a hot one at the Queen City Ex

The “Heat Warning” in effect for Regina should end later today, with tonight’s low dropping down to a more comfortable 12 degrees. That said, under the big blue prairie sky it will be a hot one at the Queen City Ex.

There are water stations located around the REAL District, so if you are thirsty for some fun, make sure you drink plenty of water.

On top of the midway, games, and exhibits the entertainment tonight will be top notch.

The “Pile O Bones Rodeo” continues at the Brandt Centre tonight. That gets underway at 6pm.

At Confederation Park, rapper Ludicrous will be taking over the stage at 9 o’clock tonight

Don’t forget, Saturday there will be a mini donut eating contest in Confederation Park at 3 o’clock, as part of the build up for the Riders and Elks. The contest features the world renowned champion Joey Chestnut. Chestnut is the perennial winner of the Hot Dog Eating Contest held every Fourth of July at Coney Island New York. He will take on a roster of challengers that include Rider players.
