Regina Police respond to firearms offence

Police are investigating a report of an injured male who suffered a gun shot wound late Thursday night in Regina.

Officers were initially dispatched to the 800 block of King Street at around 10:49 p.m. after a complainant heard what sounded like a gun shot.

While on route to the first call, police were then sent to the 1000 block of Pasqua Street after receiving a report of an injured male with injuries consistent with a gun shot wound.

The 30-year-old man was transported to hospital once EMS had arrived on scene. There is no suspect description at this time.
