One person is in police custody after multiple RCMP vehicles could be seen just northeast of Regina on Inland Drive Thursday morning, after reports of an armed man driving around the rural area.

According to RCMP, just before 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning detachments from White Butte, Moose Jaw, Lumsden, Fort Qu’Appelle and Southey all responded to the call.

Police no one was injured in the incident and there is no danger to the public.

RCMP remain on the scene investigating.
