Doc Walker to perform in Raymore August Long (AUDIO)

We caught up with Chris Thorsteinson of Doc Walker to find out what’s new with the band these days as they prepare for their Saturday night concert in Raymore over the long weekend. The group just wrapped up part one of the the Hit after Hit Tour with George Canyon and Charlie Major earlier this year and are planning a second leg of the tour this September.

Thorsteinson said it was a real thrill to be able to play with the legendary Charlie Major across Canada.

“He’s such a great guy. Thinking back to when we were young, I played all those songs in bars across Canada, so did George (Canyon), and to be able to share the stage and give a crowd a pretty unique performance was a lot of fun.” smiled Thorsteinson.

The two even collaborated on a song and later performed it later on in the tour which was a special moment for Thorsteinson. He plans to record it later this year in August when they hop back into the studio.
