Riders and Argos set for Touchdown Atlantic

The CFL officially confirmed today that Touchdown Atlantic will be returning this summer.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will meet the Toronto Argonauts July 16 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia in the 2022 edition of Touchdown Atlantic.

This will be the first time Nova Scotia will host a CFL regular season game, the province has previously hosted preseason games.

Moncton was the site for Touchdown Atlantic in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2019. The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The game will be played at the Raymond Field at Acadia University with attendance being increased to 10,000. There will be an additional of 7,000 seats for the matchup between the Riders and the Argos.

The league is planning a series to celebrations to take place throughout the week leading up to the game.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale April 26.
