Well, this is my last day of work before heading into my final week of summer vacation. This week has gone by surprisingly fast. Usually the week leading up to time off seems to drag on forever.

Unlike my last vacation, there’ll be no traveling this time around. I’ve got a few things on my to-do list, but with a week off there’ll be plenty of time to get that stuff done.

If the weather is good I’ll be enjoying a coffee on the deck each morning before packing Max into the vehicle and taking a little trip to the dog park. I love going there first thing in the morning. The chores can wait until after that.

Best part of my vacation? That’s an easy one. Not having to set my alarm clocks! Yup, I use more than one. Hey, if I hit the Lotto Max tonight, I might just toss those alarm clocks away!
