Alan Millar is moving on up.

After being the general manager of the Moose Jaw Warriors since 2012, the club announced on Monday Millar is stepping down after accepting a position with Hockey Canada to serve as Director of Player Personnel.

Millar first came to Moose Jaw in 2010 when he was named Director of Hockey Operations.

Millar has worked with Hockey Canada over the past three years, overseeing the Under-20 program last year and the Under-18 program the previous two. He has a silver medal from the 2021 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship and a gold and silver medal with Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team at the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup in 2018 and 2019.
