Saskatchewan RCMP charged two people following the seizure of 31 firearms from a home and rural site near Lafleche. 

The Swift Current Trafficking Response Team, along with other police units, executed search warrants last Friday, uncovering loaded and unsafely stored firearms, ammunition, prohibited devices, and a stolen vehicle. 

A 46-year-old Lafleche man, faces additional charges related to illegal possession and a stolen vehicle. 

Both the man and a  38-year-old woman, were charged with firearm offenses and are set for upcoming court dates. 

RCMP officials highlighted the importance of police cooperation in maintaining community safety.
