The Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel met in Regina Wednesday afternoon to discuss a potential increase in SaskPower rates.
The panel is mulling over a $5 increase to homes starting in September and another $5 increase in April, 2023.
The proposed increases are $12 hikes for farm customers in September and another $12 next April.
The provincial cabinet will make their decision on the proposed rate hikes after the panel’s report comes out. The last rate hike took place with a review in 2018.
