Saskatchewan’s Population Growing

Saskatchewan’s population is hitting new highs.

Numbers released by the provincial government, hours before the budget is released, show the population stands at 1,214,618.

According to the Sask Party government, that’s an increase of 29,307 people, and is the second largest growth rate in a single year in Saskatchewan.

Premier Scott Moe says the province’s growing economy, job opportunities and great quality of life are all reasons for the huge jump in population.
