As we approach the holiday season, many of us like to snuggle up on the couch, watch a good movie, and enjoy a favourite beverage such as a glass of wine. Well known pizza chain Pizza Hut has partnered with a winery to create a special pizza wine for a limited time.

As the name suggests, it tastes a lot like actual pizza according to those who have sampled it. The red wine is made with ripe tomatoes and infused with notes of basil. According to Pizza Hut, the wine has a velvety texture with hints of oregano, basil, and a whisper of garlic. Just what everybody wants to smell like when cuddling up to that special person on the couch!

The wine sells for $35 Canadian per bottle with a minimum two bottle purchase online. However, the wine seems to be a hit because the limited edition beverage is already sold out and a waiting list has been added for future batches.

The unfortunate part is that the wine is only available to US residents, which means if you’re hoping to snag a bottle in the future you’ll need to use the address of a friend or family member in the US. In addition to the pizza flavoured wine, customers can also purchase a tomato wine gift box.
