Saskatchewan Roughriders QB Cody Fajardo has been named one of the CFL’s Top Performers of the Week for week eight of the CFL season.

Fajardo helped lead the Riders to a 24-19 win over Hamilton Thursday night, he completed 25 of 31 passes for 313 yards. He also had a last minute run for the game winning touchdown.

It’s the third time this season the 27-year-old has thrown for at least 300 yards.

Toronto Argonauts quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson and Ottawa Redblacks returner DeVonte Dedmon were the other top performers this past week.
