Riders’ Elimimian elected new CFLPA President

Saskatchewan Roughriders linebacker Solomon Elimimian is the CFLPA’s new President.

The union made the announcement during its annual general meeting on Thursday.

Elimimian who has played ten seasons in the CFL, one with Saskatchewan and nine with B.C. takes over for the retired Jeff Keeping, who did not seek to be re-elected after being in the role for four years.

Elimimian signed a one year extension with the Riders earlier this month, the veteran turned 33 last October.
