Over $18,000 was raised this year during the 620 CKRM MS Musical Christmas Card. 

The grassroots holiday tradition has helped raise well over half a million dollars since it began 36 years ago. 

Peter Kampe with MS Canada says it’s an event they look forward to every year. 

“We have people that have donated to us for over the 35 years that we’ve been doing this; they’re still listening in,” Kampe said. “You’re able to meet people, talk to people in the band, they’re excited to play for us. It’s so much fun at this time of the year to be able to do what we need to do.”

Kampe says they anticipate more donations to roll in now that the Canada Post strike has ended.
