Youths charged after RPS responds to report of firearm discharge

On Sunday, members of the Regina Police Service responded to a firearm discharge on Higgins Bay.

Two male youths, aged 17 and 14, fled the scene but were arrested. Officers recovered ammunition, bear spray, and a firearm with ammunition.

A 17-year-old female was also arrested for breaching court-ordered conditions by consuming alcohol. No injuries were reported.

The male youths face firearm-related charges, while the female faces a breach of conditions charge. All three appeared in Provincial Youth Court Monday.
