A 93-year-old woman is recovering in hospital from injuries described as serious, but not life-threatening after she was struck by a car Friday afternoon.
Regina police say the woman was walking eastbound across Elphinstone at the College Avenue intersection at a fully marked pedestrian crossing when hit by a car going west on College that turned left onto Elphinstone heading south.
A witness says the car in question was a small, clean, burgundy coloured hatchback with a young blonde female wearing black glasses driving.
Anyone with information is asked to call Regina Police or Crimestoppers.
