Weather is being blamed for an accident Saturday night where a semi hit a pedestrian.
It happened on the Yellowhead Highway about two miles east of Lashburn around 6:30 p.m
Two vehicles had been involved in an accident with the drivers exchanging information when a semi came along. The truck tried to swerve around them, but hit both vehicles and one of the drivers at a time when visibility was near zero because of strong winds and snow.
A 35 year old woman was taken to Lloydminster in critical condition before being airlifted to Edmonton.
No charges have been laid and the investigation is still ongoing.
