Randy Timothy Venne was last seen early Sunday morning on Highway 165.

Pinehouse Lake RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 30-year-old man who escaped custody in Besnard Lake on Saturday night.

Randy Timothy Venne is suspected to have left the communities correctional facility around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night, he was last seen around 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning, on Highway 165 at the 50 km marker.

Venne is described as about 5’6″ with shaved brown hair and brown eyes, with an average build weighing around 170 pounds with a number of tattoos.

Police believe he could be on his way to La Ronge.
