Winter driving conditions prevalent in Regina area after snow storm Wednesday night

The Highway Hotline says all travel restrictions have been lifted after a winter storm brought sticky and at-times heavy snow to the Regina area.

For several hours, Highway #1 on both east and west sides of Regina saw travel not recommended warnings from the highway hotline, as well as Highway #33 in several sections and Highway #6 heading south out of the city.

For now, most highways in the Regina area see usual winter driving conditions, which may include slippery sections or swirling snow.

Those heading into or out of Regina are advised to pay close attention to the Highway Hotline for updates on road conditions.
