The subject of a Public Disclosure Notice from Regina Police in February has now been arrested.

Police were called to the 600 block of Athol Street on Saturday near Elphinstone Street, where a 24-year-old man was reportedly assaulted by another man.

Police were able to locate the suspect, who was identified as 29-year-old Christopher Boerma, who in early February was the subject of a Public Disclosure Notice due to past sexual offences and a history of reoffending.

Boerma now faces one charge of assault as well as three counts of breach of probation.

Boerma appeared in court Monday morning.
