A 22 year old man is facing aggravated assault charges after an assault with a weapon.

The Regina Police Service says officers were called to the area of 3rd Avenue and Montague Street for a reported assault with a weapon on Sunday.

Police found a 30 year old victim with serious injuries from a bladed weapon and was taken to hospital.

Further investigation led to the suspect at a home on the 800 block of McTavish Street.

Joseph Littlecrow is facing one count of aggravated assault and made his first court appearance Monday morning.
