The Green and White have added another wideout to the roster ahead of training camp.

The Riders have signed Johnathon Johnson to a deal.

Johnson spent training camp last year with the BC Lions. In 2020 he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Commanders.

The Tennessee product spent five years playing college football at the University of Missouri. A highlight for Johnson during his time with the Tigers was establishing a new bowl record for longest touchdown reception in the 2018 Liberty Bowl with a 86 yard touchdown.

The Riders open training camp on May 15 in Saskatoon.
