On Wednesday, Evans was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team.

In his first season with the AHL’s Coachella Valley Firebirds, the defenceman has 44 points (6G-38A) in 68 games.
Evans was originally selected by the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL Draft with the 35th overall selection in the 2nd round.
The defenceman spent four seasons with Regina (2018-22).
