Weyburn RCMP say a 19-year-old man has died following a serious collision Sunday morning on Highway 39.

Police responded to a call at approximately 6:00 a.m. and arrived to the scene on Highway 39 about two kilometres southeast of Weyburn.

A semi truck and pick-up truck collided head-on in the southbound lane, resulting in the death of the 19-year-old man.

The 34-year-old driver of the semi truck was transported to hospital in Regina with undetermined injuries.

Highway 39 has reopened as RCMP and traffic reconstructionists continue their investigation.
