Two dead after fire northeast of Gull Lake

Swift Current RCMP say two bodies were found after a fire on a rural property northeast of Gull Lake.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Sunday where they found a farm house fully engulfed in flames and collapsing.

The building could not be entered by fire crews to search for any occupants. Efforts were made to control the fire from spreading to any other buildings.

Police say the two bodies will be identified by the Coroner, the cause of the fire will be investigated by the Saskatchewan Fire Commissioner.

Police say at this point in time they are not considering foul play to be a potential cause of the fire.

Gull Lake is about 56 kilometers west of Swift Current.
