Environment issued the warning just after 5:30 saying the storm could produce quarter-sized hail and winds approaching 100 kilometers an hour, but while a funnel cloud was spotted near Lumsden, it is believed it did not touch down. Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings were also out for an area of southeast Saskatchewan.
The forecast is calling for a high Tuesday to be in the high teens before rising into the low and mid 20’s for the remainder of the week.
