A classroom and bus route associated to École St. Elizabeth School in Regina have been closed following a positive case of COVID-19 at the school.

The Regina Catholic School Division (RCSD) received notification of the diagnosis from the Saskatchewan Health Authority on Tuesday evening. Students impacted by the case will learn remotely for the duration of the self-isolation period, while all other classrooms remain open as per usual.

“In consultation with public health, close contacts have been identified and all parents/students of the impacted classroom and bus were notified last evening and provided information on self-isolation,” states a release from RCSD.

“We are working closely with public health staff to ensure necessary measures are in place to protect all students.”
