Sask. Party announces Premier Moe to seek re-election and date of provincial election

The Saskatchewan Party announced that Premier Scott Moe will be seeking re-election and the date for the next provincial election.

The announcement was made via the Saskatchewan Party’s social media and said that Moe would seek re-election for a fourth term as the MLA for Rosthern-Shellbrook and as Premier in the upcoming provincial election, which is scheduled to be held in 18 months on October 28, 2024.

“Saskatchewan’s economy is strong, there are thousands of new jobs being created in every sector, and our population is growing at its fastest pace in more than a century,” Moe said. “The Saskatchewan Party’s goal is to ensure that growth continues, and that is growth that works for everyone.”

“In the coming months, the Saskatchewan Party is going to nominate a strong team of 61 candidates ready to serve the people of Saskatchewan,” he continued. “We look forward to presenting that clear choice to voters in the 2024 election.”

Despite announcing the upcoming provincial election date, the Government is yet to announce the by-election dates for the vacant seats in Regina Walsh Acres, Lumsden-Morse, and Regina Coronation Park.
