Saskatchewan has eight new, confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of March 22. This brings the provincial total to 52 reported cases.
33 cases have been confirmed and 19 cases are presumptive positive. The provincial government says one of the the newest cases is a person in their late teens; the rest are adults.
The Roy Romanow Provincial Lab has performed 4,536 tests. Men make up 62 per cent of the cases.

Dr. Saqib Shahab, the chief medical health officer for Saskatchewan, will not be providing an update on the current case numbers until Monday afternoon from the Saskatchewan Legislative Building.
