Three arrested for possession of stolen property

Three adults, two men and a woman, are facing charges for recent property crime incidents involving a stolen vehicle.

The Regina Police Service says sometime on Thursday night a vehicle was broken into at a parking lot on Empress Street with the suspect stealing the victim’s keys, identification and cash.

The investigation led police to arresting three people in a car on the 4800 block of Harbour Landing Drive at about 8:30pm Friday.

The vehicle had been reported stolen on August 30th and the stolen car had a license plate that was stolen from a different vehicle.

Police say during the arrest, a small amount of methamphetamine was found on one of the men.

Officers say 26 year old Cole Aussant, 23 year old Shianna Kakakaway and 23 year old Tyler Pambrun are facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime both over and under $5,000.

Aussant is facing an additional charge of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

RPS says Pambrun is facing and additional two charges including possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 nd possession of a scheduled substance.

Police say all three were released on an Officer’s Undertaking and will make their first court appearance on October 28th.
