The SJHL season is officially over.
In a release from the league Tuesday morning, they say a decision by the provincial government not allowing a return-to-play scenario means the season is over.
The league had reportedly been trying to establish Weyburn as a hub city.
The release goes on to say The SJHL will now turn its focus on returning to play in September of 2021 and having a complete season ending with the crowning of the Saskatchewan Jr Hockey League Champion.

The league did try to get going, but Flin Flon had to suspends its season due to restrictions in Manitoba November 23. Two days later, restrictions by Saskatchewan Health led to the league being shut down.
