Federal agriculture minister Marie-Claude Bibeau announced in Regina Thursday a 19 million dollar project to provide a new micronutrient fertilizer for farmers.
Bibeau says the project includes Protein Industries Canada, AGT Foods, Lucent BioSciences, NuWave Research, In10T, and Aberhart Ag Solutions.
The micronutrient fertilizer project includes the installation of a new manufacturing process in Rosetown in west central Saskatchewan.
The project will produce up to 65 hundred tons of micronutrients known as soileos and create 25 jobs.
