Free household hazardous waste days will be taking place this weekend in Regina.

Chemicals, fertilizers, batteries, light bulbs, propane tanks are among the items that will be accepted.

Before dropping off the items, you are asked to identify materials that are not in their original container. You are also asked to have all containers safely sealed.

When transporting the hazardous materials they should be in the box of your truck or trunks, not in the back seat .

Any fuel and oil left in containers may be left behind for recycling or disposal.

Commercial loads are not permitted.

Materials can be dropped off at the Public Works Yard, 2400 6th Avenue.
