(Jamie) I Can Handle Adding Gas And Washer Fluid, But After That I’m Lost

The 620 CKRM Country Cookout on Tuesday really took a toll on my somewhat clean vehicle. I was hoping all that rain we had this week might help a bit, but it didn’t. I’ll definitely need to hit the carwash sometime this weekend.

This windshield and back window were both so dirty I actually drained what I had left of my windshield washer fluid, but that’s an easy fix. Adding washer fluid is one of those rare things I can actually do without any help. Other than that, I really am quite lost when it comes to anything that has to do with my vehicle.

Oh, I can put gas in the tank and find where a new quart of oil is supposed to go, but if there’s anything else that’s out of kilter I just pick up a phone and call one of my friends who know all about that kind of stuff.
For example, I have absolutely no idea how to put new wiper blades on my vehicle. Hell, I haven’t even figured out how to get the old ones off! Again, I’ve got friends who know how to do that stuff, although they probably snicker under their breath when I ask them to change my wiper blades for me.

The way I look at it is, as long as I’ve got enough gas in the tank to drive to a friend’s house to take care of all of this vehicle “stuff,” I should be okay.

Thank goodness I mastered the art of filling up a gas tank all by myself.

My wife should learn that trick!
