Snowfall warnings and special weather statements in place for central Saskatchewan

A snow storm is moving in to Saskatchewan’s central region, and with it will bring snow and freezing rain.

The system has caused Environment Canada to issue several warnings and special weather statements for the impacted area, which is expected to see up to 15 cm of snow overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning.

Central Saskatchewan could also see freezing rain as the temperature may remain above zero long enough to see the precipitation become rain before it switches to snow.
