A 37 year old man has been found dead at Regina’s correctional center.

The man was found unresponsive in his cell by corrections officers.

EMS declared the inmate dead at approx. 5:50pm yesterday.

The coroners service and the ministry of corrections, policing and public safety are conducting an internal investigation.

The inmates name has not been released.
